TYPICAL APPLICATIONS Bonds and seals glass to glass, or glass to metal components such as precision optical instruments, furniture, and industrial devices. The electrical properties of this product also make it suitable for potting and tacking applications.

Threadlocking Adhesive - medium strength. General purpose. Suitable for all metal threaded assemblies. LOCTITE 243 is a general purpose threadlocker of medium strength. This threadlocker secures and seals bolts, nuts and studs to prevent loosening due to vibration in assemblies like pump, motor mounting bolts, gearboxes or presses.
LOCTITE EA 3463 is a versatile, dual component, easy to use, steel filled epoxy repair putty. It is applied like a putty and when cured it has a high compressive strength and good adhesion to most surfaces. This product stops leaks in pipes and tanks, fills oversized bolt holes, smoothes welds, and repairs non-structural defects in castings holes in tanks. This product is typically used in applications with an operating range of -30 °C to 120 °C.
