LOCTITE® LB 8023 features a formulation that protects assemblies exposed to direct or indirect fresh or salt water and high humidity conditions. Typical marine applications include bolts, screws, studs, pipe joints, nuts, shafts, bushings, splines, chains, and cables. Other applications include pulp and paper mills, water and waste water treatment plants, and dressing for water pump gaskets and flanges. This product is typically used in applications with an operating range of -29 °C to +1315 °C.

Loctite EA E-90FL is a toughened, medium viscosity, industrial grade epoxy adhesive with extended working life. Once mixed, the two component epoxy cures at room temperature to form a flexible, gray bondline with excellent resistance to shock and impact. When fully cured, the epoxy is resistant to a wide range of chemicals and solvents, and acts as an excellent electrical insulator. Typical applications include bonding plastic, metal, glass, wood, ceramic, rubber, and masonry materials where flexibility is required. Suited for low-stress, high-impact bonding applications of dissimilar materials. LOCTITE® EA E-90FL™ can also be used for repairing strain gauges, sealing seams on fiberglass components, repairing printed circuit boards, bonding stainless steel inserts, and rubber hose to steel tubing. The products extended working life allows more time to adjust parts during assembly.

The electrical properties of this product also make it suitable for potting and tacking applications.

The product cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. Typical applications include the locking and sealing of large bolts and studs (M25 and larger). The thixotropic nature of LOCTITE® 262 reduces the migration of liquid product after application to the substrate.

LOCTITE 518 is a single component, medium strength,anaerobic sealant which cures when confined in the absenceof air between close fitting metal surfaces. Typical applicationsinclude sealing close fitting joints between rigid metal facesand flanges. Provides resistance to low pressures immediatelyafter assembly of flanges. Typically used as a form-in-placegasket on rigid flanged connections, e.g. gearbox and enginecasings, etc. The thixotropic nature of LOCTITE 518reduces the migration of liquid product after application to thesubstrate. LOCTITE 518 provides robust curingperformance. It not only works on active metals (e.g. mild steel)but also on passive substrates such as aluminum with a lowcopper content. The product offers gap performance to 0.25mm (0.01 in) and contamination tolerance. It cures in thepresence of minor surface contaminations from various oils,such as cutting, lubrication, anti-corrosion and protection fluidsand cleaners containing surfactants and corrosion inhibitors.

LOCTITE 315 is a self-shimming thermally conductive, onepart adhesive for bonding electrical components to heat sinkswith an insulating gap. The high thermal conductivity providesexcellent heat dissipation for thermally sensitive components,while the controlled strength permits field and service repair.The self-shimming property produces a consistent 5-6 mil gapbetween the component and the heat sink. This gap results inelectrical insulation while maintaining thermal conductivity.Typical applications include bonding transformers, transistorsand other heat generating electronic components to printedcircuit board assemblies or heat sinks. In high pot applicationsthis product should be limited to a maximum of 500 volts.Activator 7387 is required for proper curing.
